User Group Summary: Transform Your Application Experience with Element Detection!
Can you guess what’s happening here?
It’s our new feature Element Detection in play!
Hello everyone!
Thank you for attending the recent User Group meeting on Element Detection and Content Maintenance. Our Product Manager, @Reehan Ahmed presented Element Detection, a Whatfix patented robust algorithm built to identify areas of an application to help you select and latch a feature in its intended position. This feature can adapt to positional and structural changes, ensuring the tooltip latches onto the selected element correctly.
Reehan also discussed our upcoming feature, Visual Cues, which provides visual feedback on selected element strength and recommends CSS selectors to improve selection. This feature reduces the need for Whatfix Support and ensures proper element latching.
Here’s an example of how Visual Cues tell if your element is strong or weak based on similar elements on the page:
Once you know the selected element is weak, it’s time to add CSS Selectors in the order they appear until the selected element becomes strong.
Once you identify it’s a strong element, you go back to what Element Detection is best at and save time with relevant tooltips.
The session ended with a demo of Content Maintenance, which includes Flow Failure Insights, allowing for personalized analysis and customization of data to make it more relevant to you.
We hope you found this User Group meeting. Thanks for joining us to understand Whatfix's new robust algorithm. We hope you’re excited about the upcoming features. If you have any questions for us/Reehan, feel free to drop them in the comments below.
